The flagship, built for one vessel

Every array in the housing, fitted: thermal and visible light around the whole horizon, the upward lenses over the rig, four terabytes on board, and a twelve-sensor panoramic stills camera that photographs the vessel’s world at 128 megapixels. Each Ultra is specified with the yard for the vessel it is going on.

A twelve-sensor, 128-megapixel panoramic stills array, on the masthead, on the yacht’s own schedule. Anchorages, guests on deck, the sail plan, the light going — photographed from the one position no chase boat and no drone can hold.

  • 12 Photography The 128-megapixel panoramic stills array, fitted on this model alone.
  • 8 Mid-range thermal The working band around the horizon: what is out there, in the dark, at distance.
  • 4 Wide-angle thermal Close-in cover: down the hull sides, along the decks and around the tender.
  • 4 Upward thermal Included on this model: the same wide lenses turned upward, over mast, rig, sails and the air above.

    Chosen from the mast: a slimmer section, a wider section, or the dual install system for larger and twin-mast layouts. A survey settles which, and the survey is the best hour anyone spends on the project.

  • Step 3 · extends it On-board server software

    History beyond the camera’s own window, a second copy of the recordings, and several live viewers at once, on the vessel’s own server.

  • Step 4 · reach from shore Cloud recordings

    Selected recordings held ashore, so the owner and the management team can reach them from anywhere. Runs alongside the on-board server software.

  • Alongside Planning and commissioning

    Panoblu engineering with the yard and the crew: installation planning, drawings, engineering works and commissioning, so the installation is designed before anyone lifts a tool.

How it is agreed

Specification with Panoblu engineering and the yard, then the build slot, then the installation plan. Early conversations get the best slots, so it is worth raising while the refit or build is still on paper.

What sits alongside it

The installation kit the mast calls for, the on-board server software for history and backup beyond the four terabytes aboard, and the cloud service for reach from shore. A custom exterior colour is part of the catalogue too.
