Privacy

Private
By Default

All footage is stored on board. The Panoblu OB Server requires no external connection to operate. Cloud backup is outbound and optional, never a system dependency.

Cloud Backup: Optional
Remote Access and Archive

Panoblu Cloud

An optional cloud layer for remote access and off-vessel footage archive. All footage is recorded and stored on board first — cloud sync is outbound only and runs when an internet connection is available. The system operates at full capability without cloud; it is an add-on, never a dependency.

Remote Access

View live or archived footage securely from shore, port, or anywhere with an internet connection. No VPN configuration required on the vessel side.

Off-Vessel Archive

Outbound sync creates a secure off-vessel copy of voyage footage when internet is available. Retention policy is configurable per vessel and voyage.

Clip Sharing

Share GPS-tagged footage clips with owners, insurers, or crew via a secure link. No file transfer or physical media required.

Optional

No internet connection is required at sea. When connectivity is available, cloud backup activates automatically — private, outbound, and never a system dependency.

System Architecture

How It Connects

A single PoE++ cable feeds the camera. From there, the Panoblu system distributes live and recorded footage across the vessel LAN to the bridge, crew and guest devices, with optional cloud access when internet is available.
