Panoblu began as a coastal mapping and documentation platform. Working at sea, we kept running into the same problem: no matter how many cameras a vessel carried, there were always blind spots. Pan-tilt-zoom cameras only show you what they're pointed at, which is almost always the wrong place.
That observation led to a fundamental question: what would it take to see everything, in all directions, simultaneously, in any light condition? The answer became Panoblu, the world's first true 360° hybrid camera system, combining thermal infrared and visible light in a single solid-state unit.
